About the role
Work Flexibility: Hybrid
*This role will be on a hybrid schedule, with the expectation to be onsite at our Portage office 1-2 days/week
The Sr. Compensation Analyst is responsible for leading the design, administration, and analysis of sales compensation programs, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness while resolving discrepancies and maintaining up-to-date documentation. The role also leads cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and supporting ad hoc projects to optimize reporting, processes, and incentive outcomes.
What you will do:
- Enhance processes, metrics, and responsibilities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sales growth
- Leads the design, analysis and administration of sales compensation programs
- Works closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and HR/Legal teams to ensure accurate incentive plan administration, compliance, and results
- Compiles, calculates and processes commission and incentive pay for the business sales organization
- Develop, maintain, and update systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation metrics
- Lead the review and analysis of sales compensation data and summarizes findings for management
- Perform research and analysis to identify and resolve compensation discrepancies related to various financial and/or business partner data
- Act as a subject matter expert on company sales commission and incentive policies
- Lead Cross-functional collaboration to refine and enhance sales compensation processes
- Ensure plan documents, business rules and other documentation are updated with latest compensation rules and guidelines
- Implement compensation plan documents and sales incentive training programs
- Monitor sales compensation programs outcomes, ensuring adherence of participants and the effectiveness of plans
- Lead ad hoc projects and reports requested by sales management and corporate leadership including, but not limited to: quarterly projection files, financial accruals, compensation metrics and trends, etc
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience required
Preferred:
- Prefer advanced experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience using Callidus, Power BI preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform thorough, quantitative, and qualitative analyses using applicable technology tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
