OVIP Technical Program Manager Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic former military or military spouse candidate to join our team as a project management intern in North America Cloud Infrastructure – Engineering through the MAVEN program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain hands-on experience in project management. You will be responsible for assisting our project managers and data analysts in the data curation, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, as well as communicating with stakeholders and team members. Required Skills and Experience:

US Veteran transitioning from active service or active duty Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders
• Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentation materials
• Provide administrative support as needed, such as scheduling meetings and maintaining project documentation
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on project strategy and execution
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions
• Develop and maintain project management tools and templates
• Assist in the development of project proposals and bids

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in the military, preferably in a leadership or operations role
• Strong project management and/ or data analytics skills, with experience in pulling and analyzing data and driving projects
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques, such as confluence, CRM, etc.
• Excel data analytics skills such as vlookup, pivot tables, building forecasts, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other productivity software
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or computer science

Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in fields such as information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales or developmental training in sales or for customer support (as available).

• Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position.
