Multimatic Michigan is responsible for manufacturing fully engineered, high quality components and assemblies for high-volume vehicle manufacturers.  Multimatic Michigan uses advanced proprietary manufacturing processes.

Multimatic Michigan is looking for a Jr. Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for several accounting functions.

REPORTS TO:                        Sr. Financial Analyst

DEPARTMENT:                      Finance and Accounting

Scope of Position:       To record all incoming invoices and prepare them for payment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Date stamp, match PO’s / packing slip / BOL etc. and sort all incoming invoices.
• Enter all types of invoices into SAP
• Work with Purchasing to create new vendors in SAP
• Co-ordinate with other department leads to obtain appropriate approvals.
• Pull out and scan invoices and supporting for AP payment run.
• Review vendor statements as received.
• Special projects, and other duties as assigned by the Senior FA and Controller.
• Works in compliance with IATF16949 quality standard, and ISO14001 environmental standards
• Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of MIOSHA
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong computer knowledge, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with an MRP system (preferably SAP)
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers
• Cheerful disposition, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly in English
• Additional Secretarial or Administration courses would be an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Multi-Tasking and prioritizing abilities
