We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to lead and manage day-to-day operations at a key manufacturing site. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team involved in commissioning, quality assurance, and construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background with proven experience in people management and client interaction, capable of navigating complex project challenges while maintaining a collaborative and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and service delivery of the site team, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, promoting safety, productivity, and open communication.
- Oversee coordination between commissioning, QA/QC, and construction disciplines on site.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to address operational challenges and improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members to support their development.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Mechanical background or experience in commissioning, QA/QC, or construction environments.
- Ability to manage challenging client relationships with professionalism and resilience.
- Proficient in using data to inform decisions and improve site operations.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- Minimum of a two-year technical degree or journeyman certification in a mechanical trade.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Formal leadership training or certifications such as PMP are a plus.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
