Advanced Practice Provider – Breast Center (Ambulatory Only)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with flexible start/end times
Location: Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital & AMG Clinic at 639 Blackhawk Dr., Westmont, IL.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Advocate Good Samaritan Breast Center. In this ambulatory-only role, the APP will provide comprehensive clinical care to breast health patients, including independent patient visits, procedures, post-operative follow-up, and in-basket management. The APP will partner closely with our breast surgeon while also maintaining their own patient panel.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an APP who is passionate about early detection, prevention, and supporting patients throughout their breast health journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the clinic, including routine visits, evaluations, and follow-up care.
- Perform in-office procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Manage clinical in-basket responsibilities, including messaging, orders, prescription refills, and patient triage.
- Support the breast surgeon in the coordination and delivery of care.
- Maintain an independent patient panel while also seeing post-operative patients in collaboration with the physician.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an exclusively ambulatory setting.

Pay Range
$54.90 - $82.35MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical responsibilities:
Assesses, diagnoses, and determines/alters treatment and management plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition. This includes ordering, performing, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic studies and prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and therapies.
Manages conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost effectiveness, and assessment of risks/benefits and alternatives.
Provides health promotion, disease prevention and disease management counseling and education of patients and families.
Manages patients as part of an interdisciplinary team and within scope of practice. Seeks physician or other healthcare team member consultation or referrals as appropriate. Escalates need for more emergent or specialized care when necessary.
Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Substantiates and submits professional services consistent with compliant coding and billing practices.
Facilitates consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team and/or health or community agencies.
