As an Account Manager,  you will be responsible for:

  • As a Refinery Account Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Building long-term strategic relationships with customers to originate sales opportunities and develop strategies for business growth

  • Supporting field sampling, testing, application maintenance and reporting

  • Supporting the development and installation of new systems and designs to apply our chemical products and technologies

  • Partnering with sales and engineering representatives to deliver and support presentations to customers to provide value and process improvements

  • Providing account management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account budget P&L

  • Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers

  • Monitoring and maintaining existing programs for customers to provide reporting on performance of applications

  • Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers

Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering in similar discipline

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hydrocarbon process treatment or water treatment for waste water, boilers, and cooling towers

  • Solid understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process

  • Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills

  • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions

  • Able to present complex technical content to various levels of the organization, internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner

The annual pay scale for this position is between $102,700.00 - $190,900.00.
