CorsoCare Personal Care - Regional Director of Nursing

  • RN license required in all states listed below or willing to register to other states as needed.
  • Must live in one of the Sates covered

  • Required Travel: Washington State, Oregon, and California (West Coast)

Position Summary: The Regional Director of Nursing is responsible for driving results in employee, customer, and optimal performance metrics. Providing strategic leadership to the Laurus businesses through living the following: Our common beliefs, pillars, constant pursuit of better, and servant leadership principles.

Required Experience for Regional DON:

  • Licensed RN required

  • Experience in Independent Senior Living and or Enhanced Senior Living preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams at multiple locations.

  • Ability to influence others in achieving positive outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Ability to make decisions independently without direction.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and complete projects timely and accurately.

  • Strong computer skills required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and YARDI preferred

Accountabilities: Regional DON:

  • Actively demonstrates in depth knowledge of company culture and values –safety, common beliefs and a culture of feedback.

  • Oversees policies, objectives, and initiatives for region.

  • Optimizes people, processes and systems allowing community leaders to focus on the resident care.

  • Formulate and sustain optimal relationships across the business including vendors, residents, staff and families.

  • Assist CorsoCare Personal Care in fostering strong working relationships with other inter-disciplinary department leaders

  • Ability to influence and optimize the efforts of others by relationship building and continuously coaching.

  • Ability to set clear, high expectations with intense execution and accountability.

  • Determine and implement changes as necessary to evaluated systems and procedures.

  • Assist with Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure programs are functioning and meeting operational standards. Update with Metric Language.

  • Provides clinical oversights for Residents on CorsoCare Services.

  • Demonstrates authenticity, devotion and excellence by empowering employees and helping them pursue their best version

  • Provides mentoring through education, general meetings, in-service training.
