Internship Duration: 11 weeks (May – August 2025). Interns are paid $24.00/hour. Relocation assistance may be provided to eligible candidates for the duration of the summer internship.
Sales Interns will attend Land O’Lakes Internship Orientation in late May at Land O’Lakes headquarters in Arden Hills, MN to kickoff the summer internship. Sales Interns will be placed in a division that focuses on total acre solutions using top-performing seed, crop protection, and crop nutrient products. This internship will build upon your previous agronomy internships by engaging with growers and retailers on business development skills and customer relationship and sales skills while learning about the WinField United products and services. You will also utilize field trial testing to uncover yield potential through nutrients, crop protection, and seed to bring targeted insights to growers via total acre solution. At the conclusion of the summer, Sales Interns will have the opportunity to deliver a final presentation on key deliverables to the WinField United leadership team at headquarters. This internship is a gateway to our WinField United Associate Program, a full-time 2-year rotational program.
Required Qualifications:
Sophomore or Junior (preferred) undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agronomy, crop & soil science, agriculture business, agriculture sales, or other related field of study
Possess a valid driver’s license; have and maintain a satisfactory driving record
Required GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in sales or ag retail, with a focus on customer interaction
Familiarity with the ag retail system
