Location: Open to all vertiv hub locations within EMEA, with regular travel across EMEA sites

The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader, EMEA to both directly deliver hiring requirements and lead a team in EMEA across multiple countries including Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Romania, UAE, Switzerland, Slovakia, UK, and other EMEA countries.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in leadership and niche hiring, team performance management, industrial and engineering recruitment, and spear-heading recruitment strategies.  This role offers exciting opportunity to be part of a global talent acquisition leadership team and contribute to business growth and help drive best in class talent acquisition processes & strategies.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a Talent Acquisition Leader and Leadership TA business partner for EMEA Business Units & Manufacturing Operations
  • Develop, implement, and execute & lead in recruitment strategies to meet hiring needs for the country market units, and manufacturing location in the region.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for niche and high-volume positions.
  • Manage large-scale hiring campaigns for Services engineers, Technicians, Sales, Corporate Functions, manufacturing roles, including plant and factory positions, and implement strategies for attracting and retaining top talent in high-demand environments.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand recruitment needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Occasional travel to other countries for recruitment activities, including attending job fairs, conducting on-site interviews, and meeting with business leaders to understand recruitment requirements in factory hiring and align efforts.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment team responsible for hiring across multiple locations.
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to the recruitment team and even vendor partners and contractors, including performance management and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in the recruitment process.
  • Manage a talent acquisition team of bot less than 10 located across EMEA.

 

Must‑have requirements (non‑negotiable)

  • Minimum of 10 years of recruitment experience with a focus on manufacturing, technical services, engineering, Sales, volume hiring, and recruiting for niche roles 
  • Strong Recruiting experience across multiple EMEA countries including ability to manage recruitment campaigns across multiple countries in EMEA
  • Experience with manufacturing and hourly hiring at scale
  • Proven data-driven strategy, partnering and decision making ability relevant to TA team capacity, talent trends, TA resource and sourcing channels performance etc.
  • A can-do attitude and Passionate about talent acquisition, strong leadership, directly leading a TA team of not less than 10 team members. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders including executive level reporting and communication.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (Oracle), and other HR software.
  • Knowledge of local talent acquisition practices across EMEA Countries and applicable labor laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Experience in collaborating & managing performance of external TA Partners including vendors, RPO’s and contractors.
  • Willing and is able to perform occasional business travel mostly within EMEA region.

“Cherry on top” (highly desirable)

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Kaizen or equivalent process‑improvement methods—and the ability to apply that mindset to improve hiring flow, speed, and predictability. 
  • Experience improving end‑to‑end recruiting workflows through metrics, root cause analysis, and operational cadence.
