About the role

Regions is hiring an experienced Social Worker to join our ED Crisis team. This position will work independently, conducting diagnostic assessment, treatment planning and referrals, and determining clinical interventions to patients and families at Regions Hospital. This position will work independently and as part of a team, working effectively with various internal and external partners, patients, families, and physicians to facilitate patient care. The social worker provides crisis intervention, education, and supportive therapies as appropriate within the Emergency Department setting. They work develop a safe transition/discharge plan to the community. 

Work Schedule:

0.2 FTE - 2 shifts per week, 1 evening shift and 1 night shift 

Required Qualifications:

  • MSW– Masters of Social Work.  
  • LICSW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work 
  • 2 or more years of social work experience in mental health setting and/or health care setting.
