Program Description
ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Threat Intelligence Enterprise Service (TIES) solution. The TIES Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) dynamic approach to fulfilling its federally mandated cyber information sharing responsibilities and ensuring real-time automated threat intelligence reaches key security partners. The TIES product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet CISA requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:
ECS is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to serve as a cloud subject matter expert in ensuring architecture and implementation of ECS’ TIES solutions are successfully met in the respective AWS environment. The successful candidate will work closely with technical leaders, vendors, solution engineers, and the security team to ensure the TIES solution is built leveraging best practices, scalability, and cost effectively while ensuring the cloud engineering meets all necessary security/ATO requirements.
The ideal candidate will be capable to reviewing and evaluating current architecture, providing feedback for any recommendations, and supporting the hands-on implementation of the solution in the respective AWS environment through cost effective and automated methods. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of technology and significant hands-on experience building solutions and cloud environments. They will have significant hands-on experience developing production solutions, and motivation to explore problems to find creative solutions and grow existing skillsets.
Qualifications- US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years managing, designing, building, implementing, and securing enterprise technology solutions
- 5+ years AWS cloud experience (GovCloud preferred), deploying compute, storage, and other native service offerings for AWS services such EC2, Lambda, VPC, OpenSearch, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudTrail, SSN, SES, Inspector, KMS, Guard Duty, WAF, IAM, S3
- Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes Clusters leveraging Amazon EKS
- Experience working in environments utilizing Landing Zone Architecture (LZA)
- Experience with automation, Configuration Management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) leveraging tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
- 5+ years producing architecture and designs that implement scalability, performance, and cost
