DSP (Crisis Diversion Services): The MH Respite Care Provider will provide supervision and care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Respite will apply crisis intervention principles as appropriate throughout their shifts and responsible for preparing necessary documentation. DSP I is required to attend meetings and training programs relevant to the position. DSP will provide PRN coverage for the Crisis Diversion Center.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduation from a high school or G.E.D. required.
  • Some college or degree in psychology/sociology preferred.
  • Experience in the mental health field is preferred.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
  • Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Must be insurable and remain insurable on Center’s insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

 

 

 

SHIFT

8pm-6am- Overnights

Friday-Monday

Provides PRN (as needed) coverage for Crisis Diversion Center
