OBL - Registered Nurse (Surgery)

Coordinates patient care activity in the OBL and on the phone, providing necessary support to the surgeon within pre, intra and post operative phases of care. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but not limited to patient assessment, medication management, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, surgical scrubbing and assistance with procedures, and a variety of medically related tasks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current Maryland Licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
- Two to three years clinical experience in clinical setting
- CPR and ACLS required
