Procurement Specialist, Supplier Management

Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Supplier Management Procurement Specialist.
Supplier Management Program Manager oversees the systems and processes for managing supplier information, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security. They lead initiatives to improve supplier data quality, implement new technologies, and drive adoption of best practices for supplier relationship management.
 

• Included in this role will be Small Business Program management for SRNL. 
• Responsible for leading and managing programs that support and promote the participation of small businesses contracting opportunities. 
• This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase small business engagement, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. 
• Reporting on all procurement actions and tracking small business by category.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Legal, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline and 10-12 years of relevant professional experience
• For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with FAR based procurement in a role awarding and administering subcontracts.
• Directly related work experience with government procurement, DOE, DOD or a
  prime contractor.
• Experience with rapid purchasing techniques.
