Job Description
The Assistant/Senior Assistant/Associate Director will work independently and as a member of a team within the Office of Undergraduate Admission staff to enroll students to the bachelor’s degree program and the University’s residential associate’s degree program. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission, Transfer Admission & Academic Partnerships, this professional will perform a variety of functions, including:
- Manage assigned territory through outreach to high schools, prospective students/families, and alumni; travel to approximately 75 high schools annually to represent the University to prospective students and counselors; speak at evening programs, coordinate meetings with alumni, and lead admission-based workshops, and attend professional conferences.
- Annually review and manage approximately 1,800-1,900 first-year applications between mid-October and mid-March; evening and weekend work will be necessary, at times.
- Conduct information sessions both on and off campus; assist in the general hospitality service of all admission guests visiting Boston College.
- Plan and execute a range of supplementary responsibilities that may include event management, scholarship selection, athletic liaisons, international recruitment, volunteer management, or other roles.
- Additional job-related duties within the Office of Undergraduate Admission to include phone coverage, open house programs, meeting/committees, mentoring current students, and additional responsibilities as assigned.

- Associate Director: $74,450 - $93,050; 5+ years related professional experience
- Senior Assistant Director: $67,350 - $84,200; 3-5 years related professional experience
- Assistant Director: $61,050 - $76,300; 1-3 years experience
Requirements
Requires: Bachelor's degree, master's preferred, and experience in selective college admission. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, superb organization, and the stamina to work nights and weekends at various points in the admission cycle.
