We are seeking Compliance Specialist 3 to join our Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) (Licensing Unit / Corrective Action Unit) team.

Summary of Duties

The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) provides opportunities to link services for Oregonians who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. As part of its function ODDS oversees an array of services including but not limited to residential, in-home, employment, family support, crisis, and case management delivered through a state field structure or agreements with county governments or subcontracted agencies.

ODDS is responsible for the development and administration of programs that support children and adults with intellectual or other developmental disabilities to remain in their own home or community.

The ODDS Compliance and Regulatory unit is responsible for determining and promoting standards of care in community-based settings for individuals with I/DD. This unit is responsible for maintaining and improving quality of care, safety, and health outcomes for individuals in services. Licensing oversees functions such as complaint investigations, licensing reviews, certification, endorsement and licensing of service providers for ODDS. Complaint investigations are primarily due to reports of significant health and safety concerns.

The Corrective Action Team is responsible for developing and maintaining metrics that demonstrate provider compliance to Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs). This team identifies impro
