Syone, a leading technology consulting firm, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Professional Services department. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our clients' data infrastructure.

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Perform in-depth data analysis and document findings to provide insights and inform data engineering decisions.
• Define, design, and test data models for data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data marts.
• Optimize data processes to ensure efficient queries and memory management practices.
• Provide support in case of data-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to define and implement improvement measures to enhance data processes and analysis

What you will need to bring:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering and data analysis roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analysis.

Technical skills:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL systems with a focus on Oracle environments (Mandatory).
• Advanced expertise in SQL and PL/SQL (Mandatory).
• Professional experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of Airflow for orchestrating data workflows.
• Familiarity with PySpark for big data processing.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably GIT and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
