What Strategic Partnership Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Global Sourcing is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.

Strategic Partnership Management is responsible for managing Cardinal Health 's relationships with its strategic partners, which include Generic Pharmaceutical vendors such as Red Oak Sourcing. This enhanced relationship management translates into exceptional customer service, including maximizing the supply chain, negotiation of operational agreements and above the line revenue.

Job Summary

The Advisor of Strategic Partnership Management is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, implementation, and evaluating programs.  These programs involve working with external entities and their corresponding resources and Cardinal Health’s internal budget, schedule and scope constraints while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Managing the vendor relationship for the subset of suppliers.
• Driving volume on the program for the subset of suppliers.
• Maintain the vendor profiles in Salesforce, maintaining all forms, vendor processes, and templates for our vendors.
• Communicating changes in how we work with our vendors to the business.
• Educate the business on the CIVS process. This may be in person or virtually.
• Process improvement and creating stickiness with our vendors.
• Prioritize the right projects to benefit our customers, and our company
• Run various reporting to identify key opportunities to target for customers
• Manage timelines and deadlines
• Present purpose, actions and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Root cause analysis

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred 
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Previous experience working with medical suppliers preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, and a person who can balance good listening skills with the assertiveness to accomplish deliverables.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with sales, marketing, operations, enterprise information technology, etc. to support both functional and business goals.
• Data analytics experience with Excel proficiency preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $79,300 - $113,200
