What will you be doing?

Working as part of our Digital Product team, you will be instrumental in developing a best in class suite of digital services that includes mobile and web applications and backend services. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to define the testing practices and processes to ensure a smooth experience for our Providers and the customers they care for.

Your impact as a Quality Assurance Engineer will be felt throughout the entire process as you work collaboratively with a team of software engineers, designers, and product managers. You will have a critical role in creating and defining test scenarios, as well as keeping detailed documentation and checklists, to ensure all critical features have been tested and validated before the "go live" date.

What we’re looking for in you:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• A B.S/B.A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Comfortability taking ownership and solving challenging technical problems, as well as a desire to join a high-growth company with a start-up culture, which includes ambitious product development goals.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies and comprehensive understanding of testing and debugging tools such as ADB and Chrome DevTool. It's a plus if you have worked within Swift, Python and Javascript.
• Implementations of API testing across a variety of device types using tools such as Postman as well as a basic knowledge in DB queries to validate API calls.
• History of working with RESTful API methodology, source code repositories like Git, Bitbucket, and SVN and work within AWS cloud services, such as CloudWatch, Lambda, and API Gateway a bonus.
• At least a B2 level of proficiency in English is preferred for this role, as our Digital Product team is located globally.

Location:

This role will be based remotely in Austin, TX

Travel:

There is potential for some international travel for company sponsored events.
