The Talent Management Practices & Employee Listening team at New York Life helps drives the critical business outcome of employee engagement through progressive, value-added talent management processes that maximize employee potential as well as through a comprehensive listening program that ensures the successful delivery of our employee value proposition to all our employees.
- Join our dynamic team as a Talent Management & Employee Listening Associate, where you'll have the opportunity to drive key strategic initiatives in support of our company’s talent management strategy. This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations/Technology, Learning & Development, and HR Communications colleagues to ensure our talent management and employee listening programs run efficiently, effectively, and deliver maximum value to the business. What You'll Do:
- Support the day-to-day project management and delivery (including planning, system setup, communications, training, and reporting) of the core annual enterprise-wide talent management practices, including performance management, succession planning, executive promotions, and talent reviews
- Support the project management, delivery, analysis, and consultation of core survey programs within our employee listening strategy
- Manage multi-rater feedback assessments (e.g., 360s) and psychometric tools that support our executive development programs
- Lead the preparation and analysis of cross-sectional talent management reports and executive presentation materials, translating data into actionable findings and recommendations
- Curate and maintain a library of best practices, tools, and self-service templates that support talent and survey programs to ensure a simple and excellent user experience
What you’ll bring:
- BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university with specialized coursework in I-O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or related disciplines
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships and manage stakeholders
- Experience using survey software for data collection (e.g., Qualtrics) and visualization (e.g., Tableau)
- Analytical thinking, with the ability to identify trends in data and communicate findings in an easy-to-understand manner
- Experience with designing and delivering engaging training and content
- Passion about the talent and employee listening space – you read, research and stay current in trends and innovations in these areas
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $62,400-$90,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
