Position Summary 

Provide a full range of full-time, on-site Quality Assurance services associated with the construction/renovation of Many Farms High School (located in Many Farms, AZ) as described below. The purpose of this service is for this role to provide various functions as described below including but not limited to coordinating, reading plans and specifications, monitoring, documenting, and reporting on construction contractor quality control activities relating to construction safety, progress, and testing. The ultimate objective is to ensure the construction contractor has fulfilled the obligations pertaining to the quality and quantity of specifications detailed in their contract.

**Candidates must have experience in construction management of projects that are valued at 150 million dollars or more.**

**This project is intended to last 4 years. We are open to candidates who are willing to relocate for the duration of the project OR travel to/from the site weekly from their home location.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate Requests from Construction Contractor. Coordinate requests from the construction Contractor for outage requests, excavation permits, burn permits, haul routes, and other similar items. This will require liaison with the CO or COR and appropriate personnel (Security, Public Works, Fire Department etc.)  
• Coordinate field activities. QAR shall work with the prime contractor, client customers, maintenance and utility servers, and Local Fire departments to ensure seamless coordination of construction activities. 
• Attend Meetings and Conferences. The QAR shall take meeting notes and reports (other pertinent information) to the CO, COR, and DFMC PM for all meetings, conferences, and briefings within 48 hours of meetings. 
• Preconstruction Conference. The QAR shall attend the preconstruction conference onsite for the assigned construction contract. 
• Safety Meetings. The QAR shall attend safety meetings in person called by the CO or COR with the construction Contractor.
• Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Meetings. The QAR shall participate with the Government in QC meetings with the construction Contractor. At the beginning of the project, there will be a QC Mutual Understanding meeting to discuss the CQC plan. The QAR shall attend, at a minimum, one CQC meeting on-site per week. The execution of the CQC plan by the construction Contractor will be discussed at these meetings. 
• Develop Quality Assurance Plans. The QAR shall draft project-specific Quality Assurance plans as applicable to contract documents for the construction project.
