What You Will Do:
- Perform daily water quality analysis:
- pH
- Conductivity
- Bacteria
- Turbidity
- Alkalinity
- Solid’s testing
- Booth balance:
- Air flow measurements
- Temp/humidity monitoring
- Monitor air filtration and manage filter change schedule
- Monitoring the chemical feed system:
- Maintain chemical inventory
- Interfacing with the chemical vendor weekly
- Make chemical adjustments to the system
- Maintain spare parts and consumables inventory
- Troubleshooting systems as needed:
- Supply/Exhaust fans
- Multiple valve configurations
- Pump performance and tuning
- Air flow performance
- Reviewing and generating daily documentation and monthly reports
- Microsoft office
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Location Specifics:
Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: 2nd shift - 2 PM- 10 PM
Pay Range: $22 - 24/hr
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
- Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills: proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer
- Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
- Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to explain results of data gatherings\
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences
