Job responsibilities and tasks
- Monitoring quality of our products.
- Accurate and consistent documentation; documentation of all activities, equipment and instruction during manufacturing process to ensure that these items are in good operating condition.
- Compiling and maintaining records of manufacturing process that ensure quality products are produced.
- Accurate reports on quality control activities, as well as ensuring product delivery date to customers with due dates.
- Identify problems within the processes for review or cancel manufacturing when needed.
- Monitoring and checking for abnormalities in products, out of specification requirements and non-conformities.
- Developing quality control plans to eliminate existing or probable defects before production takes place.
- Ensuring that products meet the required standards and specifications consistently.
- Monitoring the progress of corrective actions when product defects are identified by confirming completion dates.
- Conducting product inspections as well as evaluating data to determine the possible causes of problematic situations with the help of other departments as needed.
- Performing testing/inspections when required to verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Interpret data and measure parameters as required to determine quality deviations and the causes of these deviations.
- Reviewing test results and work instructions to ensure that the testing is performed without error.
Education, professional experience, and qualification preferred/required.
- At least High School Graduate, College/University Degree (Preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related course)
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a quality assurance role in the same field or industry.
- Knowledgeable and must understand the basic concepts on quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods and systems.
- Able to communicate effectively with people, especially those around him/her, as well as with other departments to exchange information/data on existing issues that may affect the production process.
- Must possess good analytical skills to determine probable causes of product defects and determine appropriate corrective actions when required.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills to identify potential causes of defects and to come up with corrective actions that will eliminate or reduce the defect risks.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while still performing their tasks efficiently.
- Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues in a work environment.
