As a Principal Security Specialist you must have the ability to prioritize, schedule and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives both within an individual and team environment. You must also possess excellent writing, verbal, organizational and customer service skills. You will be a self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
What You Will Do
- Day-to-day management of closed area construction projects
- Working closely with Raytheon Facility Project Managers, and other internal stakeholders as well as government agencies.
- Ensuring closed area construction is compliant with applicable standards.
- Conducting assessments of existing space to determine security vulnerabilities,
- Assisting in the design of modifications to ensure compliance, and providing other site security management responsibilities.
- Creating physical assessment documents, compliance documents, photographic records of construction progress and final accreditation packages.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel on company business
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Exerience working with Microsoft Products
Qualifications We Prefer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point) and other web-based computer programs
- Knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 processes and construction standards
- Knowledge of NISPOM processes and construction standards
- Knowledge of building construction materials, standards, and practices

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
