THE JOB:

The role of a Housekeeping Quality Assurance Manager is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization to create a positive experience for customers and occupants while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees assigned to the area

• Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station

• Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons

• Perform frequent and consistent visual inspections to ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies that all work is done properly

• Counsel and discipline employees that violate department policies, practices, or procedures; provide regular feedback to Guest Room Attendants and House Persons on specific job responsibilities and guest service

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• Two (2) years prior experience, such as guest room attendant, utility houseperson, environmental services

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

• One (1) year of experience in Hotel Management

• Two (2) years of experience in leadership roles or managing a team

• Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations

• Bilingual
