Nurse Manager, Clinical Research Operations (Research Integration Hub)

Responsible for clinical research nursing operations within the Research Integration Hub, including but not limited to, Pediatric Clinical Research Center (PCRC) and Cancer & Blood Disorders Center (CBDC). Meet continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial, and delivery requirements in support of Seattle Children's mission, vision and values. Is responsible for the day-to-day functions of clinical research nurses, ensuring research visits are performed according to the study protocol and subject protections and safety are assured for each research patient. Develops and maintains protocols, and functions as a resource to maintain the overall quality of all clinical protocols conducted. Work closely with leadership in the Research Integration Hub, CBDC and other areas. Is responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives for conduct of clinical research. Direct reports include RNs and other assigned staff.
Required Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in another field. Minimum of two years of nursing experience. Demonstrated leadership experience.
Required Credentials
Current Washington State RN license. National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment. BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Nursing or business related field. Experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting. Experience in a pediatric clinical research center setting. Experience in a clinical research or an ambulatory management and/or leadership role. Experience in performance improvement.
Compensation Range
$126,805.00 - $190,207.00 per yearSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
