Receptionist in Nairobi, Kenya [Onsite]

Work Location: Onsite in Nairobi, Kenya

Workload: 40 hours per week

Engagement Model: Freelance / Independent Contractor

Project Duration: approx. 10-12 weeks

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for receptionists to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to schedule and assist participants of one of our data collection projects taking place in Nairobi, Kenya.

Work Responsibilities

• Validating participants via phone call according to project requirements

• Scheduling appointments according to availability

• Sending emails to participants to guide them through document signing and briefly explaining the purpose of the study

• Sending reminders to participants

• Answering or referring participants ' inquiries via email and calls where needed

• Providing logistic information

• Filling the session schedule days in advance and reflecting project changes on scheduling, resource planning files and study documentation where appropriate

• Communicating and coordinating with the project team on a daily basis to ensure up-to-date information

• Checking participants in onsite

Requirements

• Idiomatic fluency in Swahili

• Advanced English

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus

• Great organizational skills needed

• Must bedetail-oriented

• Resilient personality; must look for opportunities to adjust through applied feedback

• Must be flexible and able to shift focus quickly

• Must possess outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills including phone, email, and electronic media communication

• Experience working as a company team member

• Ready to support moderators, project coordinators, and managers in achieving the desired goal
