Advanced Practice Clinician, Cardiology – Structural Heart

Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) for the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) at the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center. The Valve and Structural Heart Center is a dynamic and innovative program within interventional cardiology.

The primary responsibility of the APC will involve providing a broad range of services in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have >2 years of APC cardiac experience and exceptional skills in assessments, consultations, H&P, and proficient in EPIC. This role will care for patients throughout the care continuum, from admission to discharge. The APC will also enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment. The schedule for this position is 6:30am – 6:30pm, working 3 days per week, and covering evening call schedule during the week, and one weekend a month.  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• 2 years of Cardiac experience as an NP or PA is preferred
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
