Job Description:

JR Automation is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern/Co-op to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, automation, and engineering practices. You will work closely with our experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact our clients and the industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Work onsite at assigned JR Automation location 7:00am – 4:00pm local time for standard rotations as defined by your college or university until all standard rotations are completed.  Remote work may be possible by special arrangements.
• Develop and/or maintain a wide range of software solutions.
• Demonstrate flexibility, both in terms of the nature of assignments and working hours.
• Take an active role in learning the skills necessary to accomplish assigned tasks through a combination of self-study and engaging experienced team members for guidance/instruction.
• Make positive contributions to the company in response to the training provided.
• Approach all assignments with an appropriate sense of urgency in order to meet required timelines.
• Travel as necessary to complete assignments.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (or higher) program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similarly applicable field.
• Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language.

• Strong desire and intention to pursue a career in software engineering.
