Job Description
For our Sales Intelligence division we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The SI team is responsible for Sales process management, reporting, analytics, dashboards as well as price management and strategies. A highly sophisticated IT landscape with complex data models and integrated applications is the base for the Business Intelligence we provide to our partners and users.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- support the data-driven decision-making process within the department and affiliated teams
- support the data analysis strategy for various departments and serve as the primary contact for general managers regarding data analytics, business and pricing strategies
- partner with cross-functional teams to interpret complex data sets and deliver strategic recommendations that enhance our business growth and success
- have a strategic oversight of the Brainlab price book to be in line with the corporate strategy
- execute and continuously improve the Brainlab price management cycle policy including pricing processes, methodologies & analyses
- manage business model fundamentals and ensure documentations and e-learnings are developed, implemented and kept up to date
- manage relationships with distributors and partners to ensure high satisfaction levels and act as a key contact in regards to business and contractual issues
- design and implement sophisticated analytical models to distill insights from extensive datasets
- work with BI experts to refine data pathways, ensuring a seamless data transition from origin to endpoint
- remain informed about sector tendencies, optimal practices and novel data analysis technologies as well as offer suggestions for their adaption
- undertake ad-hoc assessments and compile reports upon management's solicitation
- review and supervise the price book, spotting and rectifying mistakes and inconsistencies while conducting feasibility tests
- examine data quality in smart articles and ascertain that Product Management is adequately trained and manages core data accurately
- work with the Salesforce (SFDC) Application and Design team on Sales related processes and act as a key contributor and business owner for continuous improvements as well as new process developments
Qualifications
- University degree preferably in business administration, data analytics or related experience
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with a deep sense of commitment
- Proven experience in a similar role within a service-oriented and international environment
- Good organizational and computer skills with experience in Excel and ideally in Tableau, Salesforce or SAP
- Team player with a good sense of humor and motivation to get things done
- Business fluency in English
