This role is based out of our office in Durham, NC. It is a hybrid role and will require you to work in the office 2 days/week.

What You’ll Do

As a Human Resources Generalist at Clarkston, you will:

  • Own core functional areas for the HR team including compensation and total rewards, performance management, immigration, employee onboarding and relations
  • Advance company culture through the evaluation and execution of rewards and recognition programs, employee feedback surveys, and firm initiatives
  • Serve as the firm’s compensation analyst supporting the total rewards strategy through participating in annual salary surveys, benchmarking, analyzing trends in compensation and developing salary and variable pay plans
  • Maintain the firm’s compensation management tool
  • Manage performance management programs to drive a feedback focused culture throughout the firm
  • Lead and administer performance feedback cycles including project-based feedback, self-assessments, goal-setting, and annual reviews
  • Serve as the point of contact for inquiries from employees and firm leadership
  • Maintain and enhance the firm’s human resources programs through planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating programs and practices
  • Administer the various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and utility of master data
  • Process various personnel actions, generate reports, and analyze workforce metrics
  • Handle confidential and sensitive personnel information
  • Be a sought-after superuser across various talent management systems
  • Ensure adherence with all federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements and filings
  • Evaluate results and initiatives for your ownership areas to ensure alignment with firm objectives and recommending new approaches, policies, and programs to effect continual improvements in efficiencies and outcomes

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for self-starters and passionate HR professionals with 5-7 years of prior human resources generalist experience.

Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of five (5) years prior human resources experience, preferably within a Consulting firm, with three (3) years of that experience in the compensation plan administration space.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability with ability to turn large volumes of data into meaningful insights
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy with a proven track record of program and process execution
  • The ability to handle and work with a high level of confidential material and information
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor's from an accredited college or university

This role is based out of our office in Durham, NC. It is a hybrid role and will require you to work in the office 2 days/week.
