Red-D-Arc is a subsidiary of Airgas, an Air Liquide company, and a leading provider of welding equipment rentals in North America. Red-D-Arc rents, leases and sells welders, welding automation equipment and other welding-related and specialty products, including power generators as well as equipment for heat treating and dry ice blasting.

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders.

The Inside Sales person is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all accounts. 

• Provides follow-up to leads that are sent to the area via Web, Associations, etc.     

• Provides timely follow-up to customer’s requests.   

• Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines. 

• Ensures walk in customers are handled in a timely manner including equipment returns.          

• Processes credit card charges                                                                              

• Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate on inquiries and/or orders received.                                          

• Prepares quotes for outside sales and fax to clients as required.                                      

• Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment.                                                                        

• Plans and directs customer orders with the service department.                                                         

• Communicates with the service department and/or shop supervisor in regards to equipment shipments and arranges orders for shipment.                                                                                        

• Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and associated documents.    

• Arranges freight and transportation.

• Assists with vendor purchasing.     

• Assists with parts and equipment inventories.

• Performs other related duties as required.
