Clinical Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time)

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a part-time Clinical Nurse Practitioner.

POSITION OBJECTIVES: Provides routine medical care, gynecologic health, and well-being education for Bryn Mawr College students.

This is a part-time, benefits eligible position Mid August through mid May.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·    Provide medical care for Bryn Mawr College students within the full scope of the PA Nurse Practitioner Laws and in collaboration with the contract collaborating physician.

·     Follow Health Center protocols for medical care Provide medical care for Bryn Mawr College students within the full scope of the PA Nurse Practitioner Laws and in collaboration with the contract collaborating physician.

·   Provide appropriate education and counseling for students on health related issues.

·   Keep appropriate records and statistical information.

·   Maintain ongoing training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as it relates to safe and equitable patient care and improving outcomes by minimizing healthcare bias and barriers.

·   Develop patient care protocols when appropriate.

·   Attend educational professional development activities for staff.

·   Other appropriate responsibilities designed by the Medical Services Director.

 

Qualifications

Maintain Pennsylvania licensure and requirements for a nurse practitioner

Maintain malpractice policy and yearly renewal of the policy
