An engineer at any level can have significant technical and business impact. </p> <p> <br/><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong>: </p> <p>As a Senior Software Developer, you will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle’s multi-cloud infrastructure. You should be both a rock-solid developer and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong>: <br/>• 3–5+ years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems. <br/>• Strong knowledge of Java, C# or C++ and experience with scripting languages such as Python. <br/>• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills. <br/>• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems fundamentals. <br/>• Solid understanding of storage, databases and distributed persistence technologies. <br/>• Solid understanding of Linux or desire to learn it </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Top 3 skills for the ideal candidate:</strong> <br/>1.
