The Product team is responsible for setting the direction of the product roadmap and then bringing it to life.  We regularly collaborate with teams across the organization and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure our products are meeting (and exceeding) customer needs.   We delight in the delight of our customers, so we're constantly exploring new possibilities, from new data sources to integrations and AI-based solutions.

As a Data Operations Analyst, you’ll get to work with various aspects of our product data, establish data related process best practices, and have the opportunity to significantly impact the evolution of Datassential’s innovative platform. You’ll contribute important work to power Datassential’s food and beverage intelligence solutions while collaborating cross functionally to surface meaningful insights in support of both internal teams and clients.  This is a hands-on position with an opportunity to support multiple products and teams in a rapidly evolving environment.   This is a critical and highly visible position with end-to-end ownership of projects. 

What you’ll be doing

• Organize and standardize reporting on product related data across various reporting environments and tools (database, Heap, Looker, Snowflake,  Salesforce, etc.) to create a source of truth for the organization.
• Collaborate with product team members and business stakeholders to expand data access and insights.
• Support data collection, processing, quality review, and publication for the various data related needs of our applications. 
• Own the internal data request process; managing and prioritizing the request queue, executing on requests, identifying themes and opportunities for streamlining service, and communicating service metrics to leadership.  
• Support client needs for custom advanced analytics related to our applications such as ad-hoc reports and custom Looks.
• Support internal product and data teams with data insights to help decision making, prioritization and roadmaps.
• Become a subject matter expert on data connections between our products, and contribute expertise and support as we continue to build out the Datassential platform. 

Requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, etc
