SAP Production Execution Steward

Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a SAP Production Execution (PE) steward role has arisen at our new state of the art, single use, multi-product facility in Dunboyne. They will be responsible for providing support and maintenance for the SAP system (SCM). The PE steward will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure timely resolutions to any issues that may arise.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, and innovation to carry out the following:

• SAP System Management - Utilise SAP ERP to successfully manage and execute production orders, ensuring accurate data entry, material availability, and timely order completion.
• Provide support to the Manufacturing team to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate production records, including batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production reports.
• Generate reports on production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor the SAP system to ensure optimal performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with Super Users for business support and closure of CO54 errors.
• Collaborate with the Global SAP team to implement system enhancements and upgrades and take part in global CoP.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, quality assurance, process engineering and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination of activities and efficient production workflow.
• Support, Own and Lead Investigations and CAPA’s related to material management.
• Training and Compliance: Provide training and support to production personnel on SAP system functionalities, production processes, and compliance with standard operating procedures, health, and safety protocols.
• Process Improvement: Continually evaluate and improve production processes by identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality control measures.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

• A proven record of accomplishments working in a Pharma/Biopharma company or related industry is desirable. With at least 3 years’ experience working in Operations.
• Knowledge of the SAP Modules: Proficient in SAP modules such as Production Execution (PE), Material Handling (MH), and Materials Management (MM) to effectively manage production processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
•  Experience working in a GMP/regulated environment.
• Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex production data, identify process gaps, and propose effective solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams, resolve production-related issues, and foster collaboration across different departments.
• Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
