Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-Software Developer Lead IV – Denver, CO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Software Developer Lead IV informs product decisions by applying an understanding of data pipeline techniques and issues, including Application Programming Interface (API) access and integration; pre-processing; cloud security, process, and schema optimization; and the pros and cons of programming languages and associated packages. They direct and encourage the Engineering Team to promptly deliver best-in-class technical solutions. They leverage or build cloud-based architectures, technologies, and/or platforms to deliver optimized machine learning (ML)-backed solutions at scale. They communicate with the Technical Project Manager to interpret customer requirements and assign engineering tasks accordingly and collaborate with the Technical Project Manager and team members to architect solutions that exceed customer expectations. They design and develop cloud-based software solutions designed to ingest and process data from various sources and contribute to solutions that provide predictive models with raw data. The Software Developer Lead IV is an SME with expertise in all phases of application development. The Software Developer Lead IV supervises, and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in software development or related discipline AND 12 years of related experience OR
  • HS degree and 16 years of related experience OR
  • Associates degree and 14 years of related experience

(A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.)

  • DoD 8570.01-m Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification AND
  • Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline (unless candidate meets required years of experience in lieu of degree as stated above).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Software Development, or related discipline preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in an Agile development environment preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/FSP required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $156,400-$261,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
