Project Manager

Primary responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of tax-related projects to make sure they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. The role will involve overseeing the end-to-end execution of tax initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the planning and strategic execution of tax projects. The ideal candidate is an experienced hands-on project management professional who will play a crucial role in supporting tax professionals in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, minimizing tax liabilities, and optimizing tax strategies.

We will count on you to:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and ensure alignment with tax strategies

• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines

• Track and monitor project status, including key milestones, deliverables, and budget utilization

• Provide regular updates and communication to project team members, stakeholders, and senior management regarding project status, risks, and issues

• Manage project resources, including budget, staffing, and external vendors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as finance, legal and tax authorities to ensure alignment and successful execution of tax projects

• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency

• Ensure project deliverables are compliant with all applicable tax laws and regulations, such as timely documentation of information and filing of tax returns

What you need to have:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field

• 5 years of Project Management Experience and a proven track record of successfully managing projects

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

• Ability to communicate confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders

What makes you stand out?

• Master's degree in taxation, finance, or a relevant certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant)

• Familiarity with Tax Concepts: Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is preferred. Prior experience of managing projects for tax or finance teams is highly desirable

• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving
