IT Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

Serves as the primary escalation point and technical lead.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is a temporary position employed through an agency.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Administer servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage switching, firewall rule implementation, VPN, and wireless networks</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead incident resolution for infrastructure-related issues</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead root cause analysis and problem management efforts</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Execute and lead complex changes, upgrades, and deployments</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are effective</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain system performance, uptime, and reliability across all sites</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate with vendors and support multi-site infrastructure needs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provides Cable Plant Management.</span><
