General Information
This SW intern will work with a group of other SW engineers to develop embedded SW in C language, help define test strategy, develop test specifications, execute test plans, and document test results related to low-level SW for our current projects. Also, the intern would develop application(s)/scripts to assist in provisioning boards with the security keys, both for prototypes and in preparation for manufacturing.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded SW in C
- Perform unit tests to fulfill cybersecurity
- Static Code Analysis activities
- Help develop unit test strategy
- Develop unit test specifications
- Perform unit testing and create reports
- Ensure traceability between architecture and requirements
- Develop test tools, programs, and/or scripts
- Use CAN communication and/or on-target debug tools
- Understand flashing TCU during the manufacturing/operations process
- Study low-level (base) software design and implementation.
- Study software unit, integration, and regression test strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree student in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar engineering degree.
- Knowledge in C and/or Python programming language.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control; issue tracking tools.
