Position Summary

CVS Supply Chain is transforming to serve our customers no matter where they are on their path to better health. The future will be simple, efficient and leverage the latest proven automation. The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Insights and Analytics will join the Network Planning and Design team and be responsible for helping to advance our capabilities as we modernize and evolve our supply chain.  The role will support the development of analytical foundations to deliver business insights leveraged to drive strategy, improve execution, and increase the speed of action by stakeholder groups across distribution network planning, inventory management, transportation, and operations.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing the capabilities of their team. This role will be intimately involved with our modernization strategy and measuring progress against critical metrics.

In this role, the ideal candidate will:

• Lead a team responsible for data analytics and extracting insights that will support the development and execution of supply chain initiatives ranging from tactical execution to strategic planning
• Advance our supply chain capabilities to support data driven network optimization efforts
• Identify critical metrics that drive the business and the supporting measures necessary to achieve success.  
• Assess data needs and gaps in current data collection and retention practices; support efforts to improve data practices
• Leverage analytics to identify opportunities across supply chain functions  to drive action and support business case development
• Develop dashboards and reporting utilized to track overall network effectiveness and progress on strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience querying large databases to transform data and develop relevant reporting (examples- SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau)
• 5+ years experience analytics, metrics and reporting development
• 2+ years  experience developing business cases, reporting and dashboards
• 2+ years of experience with advanced analytics tools, systems and modeling software applications
• 2+ years leading analytics or modeling teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to distill complicated analyses down to packaged data insights
• Experience creating leadership materials and presenting to senior leaders
• Supply Chain experience
• Ability to conduct external market research (to see how other companies, and our competitors, are solving for their supply chain needs, and how / if we can leverage their learnings)
• Some familiarity with WMS systems & data preferred
• Can assist our partners in developing new ways to track and store large amounts of supply chain data that can be leveraged in future analyses
• Be agile, operate in ambiguity, and willing to take on special projects alongside “normal” workstream ownership in a fast-paced environment
• Master’s Degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
