Job Summary

Tour Guide personnel should possess a pleasant, outgoing demeanor, as well as, ensure a safe, fan-friendly environment for our guests while providing guests a vast knowledge of Pirate and PNC Park history. The position includes; but is not limited to: providing benchmark customer service, monitoring tour tickets, and serving as a source of ballpark information for all guests. They will also be trained to have a vast knowledge of PNC Park rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Set-up and takedown of all tour items; such as – Clubhouse equipment, theatre equipment, treasure boxes, etc.
2. Conduct tours of PNC Park as either “front” tour guide or “follow” tour guide.
3. Verify tour tickets upon entrance into ballpark.
4. Enforce all MLB ballpark entrance policies as they would on a game day.
5. Any other duties as assigned by the Tour Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager.

Qualifications

1. Have a vast knowledge of Pirates history.
2. Have a vast knowledge of PNC Park including but not limited to; all of the policies, procedures, services and facility locations.
3. Must have good public speaking skills.
4. Must possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
5. Ability to customize and adapt tour delivery to cater to diverse audiences across all age groups to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for each guest.
