Compensation
The compensation target for this role is: $106,300 - $125,000Job Summary
The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the overall process of product fulfilment and warehouse receiving and distribution to Purple customers; this includes direct consumers, wholesale channels, amazon distribution, and forward inventory locations. This position will be responsible for leading two departments with the assistance of two managers.Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supports, guides, and promotes Purple systems including L2L, 5S, work instructions and supports other department systems including HighJump, etc.
• Provide leadership in continuous improvement activities to achieve Purples goals of meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Mentor and grow management talent
• Holds personnel accountable for a strong work ethic, productivity, innovation, profitability, and safety.
• Works with Maintenance, Innovations, Safety, Supply Chain, and Quality, to coordinate all aspects of process improvements.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
• 5+ years of management experience required
• Manufacturing experience (3 years preferred) in rapid growing company with experience managing teams of 10 or more
• BS or Graduate Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering; or equivalent work experience.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to effectively interface with other departments and personnel
