Lead Caregiver

The Lead Caregiver is responsible for ensuring that our clients are receiving the best possible care at wherever they call home. Additionally, the Lead Caregiver will be responsible for the training and development of caregivers and will be actively involved in the client's Care Plan from intake to subsequent visits. They will participate in all staffing decisions with the goal of optimizing both caregiver/client fit and completion of the Care Plan. Unique opportunities within this role are additional responsibilities based on need, such as office and field duties, coordinating and executing community events, customer and client services, marketing events and community outreach activities. Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake meetings and develop initial Care Plans
- Visit each client as required
- Train and develop caregivers
- Participate in staffing decisions
- Participates in annual caregiver performance evaluations
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requested
- Other duties as assigned
- Good communication, leadership and time management skills are essential
- Great Attitude!
- Must have prior caregiver experience (minimum 2 years)
- LPN/CNA preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handle stress well, and be flexible
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- TB Test
- Good work ethic, reliable, compassionate and caring
