About the role

Global Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

Overview:

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global movement of Christians working to protect people in poverty from everyday violence—human trafficking, slavery, sexual violence, police abuse, and other brutalities that destroy lives and communities. IJM partners with local authorities in multiple countries to rescue victims, hold perpetrators accountable in court, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems so they protect the vulnerable long after IJM leaves.

The Global Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (Global VP, FP&A) is a key enterprise leader who directs how IJM’s financial resources fuel a global movement to end violence against people in poverty. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads IJM’s global planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts to ensure every dollar is strategically stewarded to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice for the poor unstoppable.

As a trusted advisor to IJM’s global leadership, the Global VP, FP&A brings clarity and insight in a complex, high-growth, multi-currency environment—turning data into decisive action, shaping resource allocation, and strengthening the financial story shared with the Board, donors/investors, and senior leaders.

This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a synergistic partnership with the VP Controller and the broader finance division.

  • Monitor IJM’s global short- and long-term cash flow model, ensuring that IJM maintains its budgeted cash reserve, that IJM programs and projects are consistently and predictably funded and that plans exist for financial contingencies.

  • Drive IJM’s annual revenue and expense planning and quarterly forecasting processes.

  • Publish dashboards and reports to equip decision-makers with needed financial data.

  • Drive to add actionable insight to data always.

  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to further the mission of IJM.

Policies and Procedures and Professional Development

  • Build a global budget framework that appropriately integrates and disaggregates funding sources / uses, allows for clear calculation of return on investment, and provides a foundation for essential stakeholder reporting.

  • Promulgate uniform revenue-related performance indicators and systems of measurement.

  • Promulgate uniform expense planning tools, templates, policies, processes and definitions. <
