Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services has an exciting opportunity for a Software QA engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. The software engineer will join a team of engineers and data scientists that address challenging problems within the Department of Defense. If writing tests, automated test infrastructure, and helping uncover bugs excites you, this is the position for you.
Job Responsibility:
- Work with the product owner and customer to ensure features are developed correctly
- Help define test cases for new and existing software
- Create automated unit and integration level tests that can automatically run
- Ability to write automated and manual test plans following a formal test plan process
- Work with developers to help track down bugs in the software
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum 3 years of testing experience
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Knowledge of QA tools
Bonus Points if you have:
- Interest In:
- Working with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g Vue3)
- Continuous Integration systems and automated deployment (e.g GitLab)
- Experience with:
- Writing automated tests (Unit, Integration, Functional, UI)
- Unit testing framework(s) (e.g. pytest, Junit, Cypress, Storybook, Jest)
- Being part of the release process of software
- Working with users to understand bugs identified in production
- Agile development
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience
Security Clearance:
- SECRET or TS with SCI eligibility preferred
