About the Role

As a Production Specialist, you will perform diverse tasks in a facility. Initially, you will work under close supervision to learn client requirements. Your responsibilities will include receiving materials, warehouse put-aways, project setup and execution, operating production printers and inserters, and mailing personalized materials for customers.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment in production areas and accompanying procedure.

• Executing job setup and production planning to meet demanding client deliverables.

• Escalating and helping resolve production risks when identified.

• Recognizing and resolving any discrepancies with the work or processes through thoughtful resolution or escalation.

• Following and documenting maintenance requirements for all equipment in production areas.

• Anticipating potential production bottlenecks or backlogs and providing solutions to avoid delays.

• Performing on a moderately flexible work schedule (shift overtime or weekends during seasonal peaks and unplanned demand).

• Working and develop in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Have a High School diploma or GED.

• Have basic computer skills (Excel, WORD, Outlook, Internet, etc.)

• Have a proficiency in working with mechanical systems, including assembly, repair, and troubleshooting.

• Have willingness to quickly learn new processes and machines.

• Have ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

• Have flexibility in daily assignments and occasional overtime requirements.

Work Environment

• Overtime required during peak delivery months (April, October, November-December). This varies with demand.

• Fast-paced production environment. Alight will train across functions.

• Air-Conditioned productions space, newly built out workspace (including Warehouse).
