If you are a Computer Science or IT student looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will improve your skills learned in the classroom by balancing the priorities of multiple teams and projects.

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Computer Science/IT Intern you will:

Work with MSSQL, Power BI, Tableau, Ignition, Visual Studio, C#, VB .net, and websites. Upgrade Power Bi and Data Analytics software and support this reporting as needed. Monitor our Process Data applications and notify personnel of issues we have with any daily data analysis. Write technical documentation leaving a path for future engineers to follow regarding Data Analytics efforts. Modify, migrate, and develop applications written in c# or visual basic in MS Visual Studio.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field

• Able to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester

• Familiar with the operating systems of a computer

• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

• Reliable transportation- Sidney has multiple locations and will need own transportation for commuting

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

• Sophomore or higher class status preferred

• The candidate must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

• Excellent writing skills (grammar & spelling), problem solving skills, data analysis & reporting skills, verbal communication skills, organization skills, customer service skills and leadership skills

• Ability to quickly load additional software or troubleshoot existing software is a plus

• Reliable transportation- Sidney has multiple locations and will need own transportation for commuting
