Job Summary
The Senior Data Integrity and Master Data Governance Manager creates the structure, standardization, and process for all TMC master data. This role will lead the vision, roadmap, and execution for MDM to improve the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data across key systems and all master data objects. Partner closely with the organization to deliver requirements for master data as part of different business initiatives. Oversee the daily performance of processes to maintain business user satisfaction, mainly related to data accuracy, policy and processes, communications and change management.
In collaboration with TMC stakeholders, the Sr. Manager – MDG will be responsible for evaluating solutions by partnering with TAH, external suppliers and other Terumo business units to achieve TMC MDG goals. Additionally, this position will play a key role in streamlining TMC Business Intelligence for commercial domain.
Together with TMC IT Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the program management of all phases of TMC MDG projects, working with cross functional leadership. That includes master data governance strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition and delivery, and communication activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery for MDG domain.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role will span both project-based work (when project(s) are active) as well as ongoing production support.
- Provide strategic vision and direction in developing and managing an excellent master data management function and team in alignment with business strategy
- Lead the management of data and ensure data integrity by coordinating holistically across the organization for all data objects (materials, customers, vendors, finance, purchasing, sales, quality, and regulatory data)
- Lead and provide oversight of multiple simultaneous master data relevant projects such as product launches, facilities extensions, acquisitions, significant initiatives, etc.
- Conduct effective reviews of master data pipelines for planning and executional purposes
- Establish data monitoring processes for end-to-end business applications or infrastructure to proactively identify or resolve problems
- Lead the effort of performing problem and trend analyses to identify and correct repetitive problems and increase overall data quality
- Lead reporting effort to assist management with review and analysis, including operational, SOX, and audit requests
- Collaborate and support the Master Data team members, Subject Matter Experts, and Center of Excellence teams in master data initiatives and day-to-day work
- As required, contributes and collaborates with Global IT service lines and organizations to maximize business value creation of products and services delivered.
- Monitor system and functional requirements. Ensures that information system controls are adequate and maintained for commercial IT solutions.
- Coordinates with project teams, business, IT and vendors to ensure requirements are managed, changes are documented, and systems are developed, integrated, tested and deployed, as defined within TMC’s requirements for all commercial solutions.
- Adheres to Global IT Control framework and processes to increase quality and ensure/drive IT compliance.
- Manages and directs internal MDG IT team/Associates, external partners, and 3rd party associates; providing guidance, setting enterprise standards, overseeing results and quality.
