JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Product Manager, US Marketing at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BioCryst) is responsible for supporting aspects of the marketing plan, under the direction of the Director, US Marketing. This individual will be responsible for strategic input and tactical execution of plan deliverables. The Senior Product Manager is a detail-oriented position, requiring cross-functional collaboration while delivering against BioCryst’s commercial strategies in a fast-paced environment. #LI-Remote


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute the US marketing plan for ORLADEYO® in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner closely with the sales team to ensure pull-through, provide support, monitor and uncover opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of the Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) market and execute on trends to help form strategies and solutions.
• Manage agency partners involved in key projects.
• Active participant in planning & participating in relevant brand team meetings.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for key initiatives to assess brand performance; make recommendations to maximize achievement of business objectives.
• Lead/support the development, creation, and implementation of promotional materials.
• Manage and update (as needed) existing resources due to annual cycle and/or updated messaging.
• Build successful relationships with colleagues, strategic business partners, and vendors.
• Ensure strategic and tactical plans adhere to compliance, regulatory, and other internal and external requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in pharmaceutical/biotech required, with a minimum of 2 years in rare disease/specialty products marketing. Successful US launch experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working and leading cross-functionally to manage initiatives that drive product adoption and achieve commercial objectives.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a time-constrained environment.
• Analytical; uses data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Strategic, critical, creative thinker.
• Experience working in a small-scale biotech or pharmaceutical company setting preferred.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
